No prior experience needed. This two-day beginner-friendly workshop offers a more immersive experience than the one day introduction and is perfect for anyone curious about creating art with encaustic. You'll be introduced to the encaustic process and its wide range of possibilities. We will cover all the essentials taught in the one day class, such as safety, tools, work surfaces, fusing techniques, paint application, etc., but with more time to develop your painting skills as we explore color, layering and scraping.

This two-day beginner workshop runs from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday, held in-person at my Portsmouth, NH studio. Limited to five participants for a personalized experience. All materials are provided.
