Ready to take your encaustic skills to the next level?

Join me for a two-day workshop designed for those who have already completed a beginners’ class in encaustic and are ready to explore new techniques and possibilities.

We’ll delve into creating translucency, depth and atmosphere, using water and skies as our inspiration. You’ll learn how to build and manipulate layers of wax, scraping back the surface to reveal hidden colors and patterns, and how to develop rich, tactile textures within your work.

We’ll also explore how to use R&F Pigment Sticks and oil sticks to introduce color, mark-making and fine detail, adding another dimension to your paintings.

This in-person class runs from 10 AM to 4 PM at my studio in Portsmouth, NH.

I have limited the class to 4 people to allow more time with each student.
